  • Takes about 5 minutes
  • Recommended by WHO and NIAAA

AUDIT Screen  

The DAST:

  • Stands for The Drug Abuse Screening Test
  • 28-item self-report screen
  • A sensitive screening instrument for the abuse of drugs other than alcohol

DAST Screen  

CAGE & T-ACE:

  • 4 item self report screen
  • Used for the detection of alcoholism and/or risky alcohol use

CRAFFT (for adolescents):

  • Six question Screening tool for use with adolescents under the age of 21
  • Recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Substance Abuse for use with adolescents
