Build Curricular Structure and Locations for International Field Placement Program
Angela Jachelski
School of Social Work
Clinical Instructor and Field Coordinator
This project will build more curricular structure and locations for the International Field Placement program within the School of Social Work and design learning opportunities for students to integrate learning from international field placement with local issues. Opportunities may include matching students in the international program with counterparts at similar domestic agencies to share ideas and support brainstorming and problem solving from diverse perspectives. Students in domestic practicum experiences will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and view presentations of students who participated in international study in India, England, and potentially newly developed programs in Costa Rica.
