Psilocybin is a plant-based psychedelic that has been integral to the spiritual practices of Indigenous communities around the globe for thousands of years. It is important to highlight the histories and traditions of Indigenous psychedelic experts. Tatyanna Santiago, an alumnus of the Master's in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics, and I will work to design a culturally competent module on psilocybin that incorporates the rich, global history and voices of Indigenous leaders.
